A Field demonstration and feedback session was held on 23 April 2025, at Botiaghata village of Botiaghata upazila, Khulna, organised by the FAO RAP office, Thailand and the Bangladesh office as part of the Operational Partners Implementation Modality (OPIM) training workshop.
At least 45 participants from 7 countries and the FAO RAP office, Thailand and the FAO Bangladesh office have participated in the program. This field visit was mainly focused on the BCRL-FFS (Farmers Field School) of the Building Climate Resilient Livelihood in Vulnerable Landscape in Bangladesh (BCRL) Project. All foreign delegates, FAO officials with BCRL-FFS (Watermelon) farmers, visited the Watermelon field demonstration under the BCRL Project, DAE.
They all enjoyed this field visit and exchanged their views, knowledge and experience with the farmers and DAE officials. Additional Director, DAE, Khulna Region, Deputy Director, DAE, Khulna, Upazila Agriculture Officer with his team, Upazila Nirbahi officer of Batiaghata Upazila and BCRL project consultants were present. The program was anchored by Dr. Md. Lokman Hossain Mazumder, Component Director of the BCRL project, DAE.
