In the cold winter, many homeless and poor people suffer in the streets of the city. At this time, Jibon Tori Youth Foundation (Chattogram branch) came forward to help them. With the initiative of volunteer Pongkoz Chandra Das, winter clothes and blankets were given to people in need. This kind work brought warmth and smiles to many helpless people.
A Young Man Who Loves to Help People
Helping others is his passion. Whenever he gets free time, he works for people in need. Sometimes he helps a pregnant mother who needs blood urgently. Sometimes he supports a poor student who may stop studying because of money problems. He also feeds hungry people and helpless animals as much as he can.
He helps poor patients by collecting money for medical treatment. He also joins tree planting programs to protect the environment. In addition, he helps street children and poor students with their education.
This young man is Pongkoz Chandra Das. He is a recent graduate of Government Hazi Mohammad Mohsin College and a proud cadet of the Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC), Army Wing. He is also an active volunteer of Jibon Tori Foundation, Chattogram branch, and works sincerely for humanity.
From his school life, Pongkoz Chandra Das has been involved in social work. He believes that helping people is the true purpose of life. His dream is to serve society, his country, and the people for his whole life.
Today, Pongkoz Chandra Das is an inspiration for young people because of his kindness, responsibility, and selfless service.
