Following its massive success in local theaters this Eid, Tanim Noor’s star-studded film ‘Bonolota Express’ is ready to take the international stage. In a major move for Bangladeshi cinema, the film is scheduled for a simultaneous release across 52 theaters in North America and Europe starting April 3, 2026.
The international distribution is being handled by Swapna Scarecrow. In its opening week, the film will be screened at 10 theaters in Canada, 38 in the United States, and 4 in the United Kingdom.
Global Reach & Top Cinema Chains
The film will be available to the diaspora and international audiences through some of the world's most renowned cinema chains, including AMC, Regal, Cineplex, Cinemark, Showcase, and Cineworld.
USA: 21 screens at AMC and 14 at Regal.
Canada: 10 screens at Cineplex.
Key Cities: Major hubs like Toronto, Montreal, New York, Dallas, London, and Birmingham will host the premiere.
UK Distribution: Facilitated by partner distributor Revery Films.

Industry insiders are optimistic that ‘Bonolota Express’ will surpass the commercial records of previous blockbusters like ‘Utsab’. Notably, this film secured 15 more theaters in its first international week compared to ‘Utsab’, signaling a high demand for high-quality Bangladeshi content abroad.
"The overwhelming response at home has paved the way for this massive global release. We believe the story will resonate deeply with Bengalis living abroad," said a representative from the production team.
